This Mediterranean kitchen and mudroom design started with an addition by architect Cynthia Guthrie.  Once the layout and new walls were in, my job was to bring the “Mediterranean” to the design.  We choose Hickory for the wall cabinets, added heated tile floors, and a beautiful dark wood island as its centerpiece.  A hand painted custom tile mural was commissioned as our focal point.  We took the warmth of the Mediterranean to the walls with a 4 step glazing process, and continued those colors in the fabrics of the upholstered bench, pillows, and window coverings.
