A 1990’s Craftsman style home was purchased with dreams of turning it into a Cobblestone Cottage. The cobblestone fireplace was the focal point and most distinctive feature of the home.  The owners wanted to play up the fireplace “storybook” look and add whimsy and creative areas for their young children to dream, play and grow.  The client loved rich saturated tones blended with light creamy walls so the home still felt light and modern. A custom T&G vertical wainscoting and stunning Morris and Co. wallpaper transformed the dining room. A local woodworker made a custom white oak dining table to perfectly complete the space.  The Craftsman fixtures were removed and replaced with more modern lighting. New linen drapes, window shades, a stunning green velvet sofa, rust chairs and new accessories completed this beautiful Cobblestone makeover.
